There are five kinds of disk drives They are
3 1 2 floppy disk can hold 1 44 megabytes The hard disk or the C can save quicker than the 3 1 2 floppy It is much larger also CD ROM is often called the D drive A CD can hold more information than a 100 diskettes The zip disk can hold 100 megabytes The zip drive is equipped with today s computers A DVD disk is a new device It allows you to watch movies on your computer
The keyboard is another way of sending information to your computer The computer keyboard has few more additional keys than a typewriter keyboard A few examples would be F1 F2 F3 F4 and F5 There are also a few short cut combinations that I learned To copy you would type Control C and to paste you would type Control V
Mouse stands for Manually Oscillating Utensil Sonically Engaged By double clicking the mouse you can open up a program or make a selection By right clicking the mouse you can view various menus The mouse arrow indicates the position of the mouse on you screen
