    1 Course Background and Objectives
    Objectives Business Research Methods is a compulsory course entailing three credits and is offered to the students in the second Trimester
    In thousand of organization business research is an important managerial tool that exerts a major influence on decision making The aim of this unit is to provide students with relevant knowledge pertaining to theory development and application in business research within the marketing finance HR IT IB discipline The unit is designed to develop and present a simple model of research methodology that distinguishes between strategies methods and different type of data to understand organizational problems Other aim of this course is to emphasis the importance of the methodology of handling research data and analysis Specifically to critically explore the discipline s theoretical foundations trace the evolution of the literature and identify gaps in the extant knowledge base Upon successful completion of this unit students will be able to give decision based on research in any business environment
    2 Pedagogy
    The pedagogy will be a mix of lectures case study assignments and group projects
    3 Course Requirements
    Since much of the course material involves business research situation based on research design and analyze it with statistical tools it is important that you are prepared for the class and take active participation in the class Preparation for class includes having read the topic discussed in the previous sessions
    Discussions on cases will be open to all the students must actively participate in the case analysis
